We are pleased to report that three incoming ACO students, admitted to enter in Fall 2012, won prestigious national fellowships:
Sarah Cannon (Tufts University) and Benjamin Cousins (Clemson University) have been selected NSF Graduate Research Fellows and Hannah Manuel (Louisiana State University) has been selected National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow. The latter fellowship is awarded by the Department of Defense to pursue a PhD within one of fifteen disciplines. NDSEG Fellows do not incur any military or other service obligation.
