ACO student Jingye Xu and ACO alumnus Mehrdad Ghadiri are finalists for INFORMS prizes

Jingye Xu, ACO student (home dept ISyE) advised by Diego Cifuentes and Santanu Dey, is a finalist for the George Nicholson student paper competition at INFORMS 2024 for his paper, "Sensitivity analysis for mixed binary quadratic programming."

Mehrdad Ghadiri, ACO alumnus (home dept SCS) advised by Santosh Vempala, is a finalist for the George B. Dantzig dissertation award at INFORMS 2024: "Scalable, Efficient, and Fair Algorithms for Structured Convex Optimization Problems." 

Several faculty members are the winners of prestigious awards this year, including Pinar Keskinocak for the President's award *and* the Kimball medal, and Arkadi Nemirovskii (with Anatoli Juditski) for the Lanchester prize. Congratulations!
